Since 1980 one of IER’s significant activities has been to provide Executive Professional Services and or Operational Field Support to assist companies and development agencies operating in socalled “difficult” countries and or conditions.
Due to the fact that these assignments have often taken place in regions or situations in which the resources available and prevailing conditions have been substantially more difficult than those normally found in the Western World, it has been necessary for IER to develop “Multidisciplinary Capabilities” and a substantial international support network in order to ensure that it is able to operate effectively. Furthermore, IER integrates an effective industrial recovery and performance organizations and includes associated specialised companies such as The Performance Group and Independent International Consulting.
Although natural resource development and raw materials sourcing, commercialisation and logistics support remains one of the core business activities of the company, the development of infrastructure and utility services has become another essential activity.
